Partnership Plus is the current form of the Improving the Quality of Education for All Project, started by Professor David Hopkins in Coventry secondary schools in 2000.
This model of school improvement is based on forming groups of teachers (and other adults) who are committed to action research in their classrooms to discover what works in Teaching and Learning.
These School Improvement Groups work within their schools and the senior teams recognise their work and seek to move forward on what they discover about effective practice.
In addition, the fee of £800 pays for a CPD programme, including a residential conference at the University of Warwick. Schools deliver workshops on the research they have undertaken regarding effective classroom practice at both the conference and throughout the year. This year’s programme, photographs and filmed sessions from previous years can be found on this website.
If you would like to know more, then please contact Gwen Temple: gwen.temple@lawrencesheriffschool.com to know more about the organisation and the school improvement model that depends and relies on teachers improving classroom practice by simple research and then disseminating the effective practice in a collaborative network.
